Committee Reports:
-Site Inspection:
- There were very few problems this year. Lawn mowing was the biggest issue. The amendment made at the May General Membership meeting should take care of the problem. A reminder to keep fire pits clean and free of garbage and also to keep fire wood staked properly to help reduce attracting rodents.
-Bylaws:
-Golf carts are to have lights and 3-inch lot numbers on each side of the cart. Also, golf cart owners are responsible to have liability insurance on their cart. It is for your own protection.
-Trailer ages ? A motion from the Board of Directors was presented: It was moved and seconded that trailers being brought into the campground must be 15 years old or newer unless the purchaser seeks inspection and passes the approval of the site inspection committee. Discussion followed. Motion carried.
-Activities:
-Halloween weekend will be the last weekend in September. Activities will include the fire department giving rides, hot dog roast, hay ride, trick or treating, haunted walk, and doughnuts and cider. That weekend will also be garage sale weekend.
-Buildings and Grounds:
-It is recommended that a permit is acquired for improvements to lot memberships,
especially if digging is required. Electrical lines are not very deep in the ground, so ask
before digging.
-The new locks on the bath house are working well. The same locks will be put on the
clubhouse.
-Finance:
-Chris Jakee moved, seconded by Angelo Giusty, to set the maintenance fee for the 2010-
2011 camping season at $600. Discussion followed. Motion carried.
