Windy Hill Newsletter May 2008
President?s Report Hello and Welcome to the 2008 Windy Hill camping year. To say our winter was long is such an understatement that I won?t even mention it. Our campground wintered well. With that said, ?Let the summer begin!? Joe and his crew turned the water on April 10. There were a few problems with broken pipes, but all are repaired now after a lot of hard work. The maintenance committee has a few projects slated for this year. Painting the ceiling in the bathhouse will take place in May. Painting the clubhouse last year was a lot of fun. With gas prices almost $4 a gallon, it is nice to have a campground within reach for inexpensive weekends of family fun. Hope to see you all again this spring, Don Wheeler * * * * * * Windy Hill Apparel For anyone interested in purchasing sweatshirts, jackets, hats, etc with the campground logo on them, contact Laura Montalbano on Lot #71. * * * * * * Bylaws Everyone should have received their bylaws last fall. There are about a half dozen or so that have not returned the paper stating that they received their copy. If you would be so kind, I would appreciate you signing the paper that came with your copy and mail it to me. There was a self-addressed envelope with every packet. So, if you have not mailed yours back, please do so. It will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Linda * * * * * * Spring Membership Meeting Yippee!!!! Spring has finally come and we can enjoy the company of all of our fellow members. Our spring membership meeting will be held on Sunday, May 25, 2008 at 1 p.m. in our clubhouse. It will be nice to see everyone there and let the good times start rolling!!!! * * * * * * Quotes to Ponder Humankind has not woven the web of life. We are but one thread within it.
